About Yotvat Kariti

New York-based professional photographer Yotvat Kariti specializes in street, documentary, and portrait photography. In addition to that, she is also an NYC history and architecture expert, certified to run New York City Photography Tours and New York Street Photography Workshops. So far she has published a Photo Guide to New York City and a book called Street Photography for Beginners.

Yotvat Kariti holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Photography from the International Center of Photography (ICP) and a Master’s degree in Photography from the School of Visual Arts. Her business encompasses running a print business, a portrait photography business and collaborating with a number of companies and people around New York City.

Yotvat draws inspiration from the people and the history of New York City. Her primary passion is documenting the original characters and stories of the city. Over her photographic journey, she has shot travel, wildlife, landscapes, and some portraits. However, for her, street photography is the most challenging and satisfying genre.
